    01What it looks like

    Ask it. Tell it.

Four moments from a Claude chat with the Ask Nathan connector on. The people and companies are fictional.

Who can get me inAsk who on your team can get you in: the strongest path, its Path Confidence and the next step.
A Claude chat with the Ask Nathan connector switched on. The user asks who on their team can get them into Meridian Networks, someone in partnerships, VP and up. Claude answers that they already know Theo Ramirez, VP Partnerships, from six one-on-ones, and that the strongest path through their team is Priya Raman, SVP Strategic Partnerships, through Daniel Okoye, at Path Confidence 81, high, with a suggested next step. Illustrative: fictional people and companies.
Accounts you can walk intoAsk which accounts you could walk into: companies with no open deal where you have a senior relationship, or a close one, of your own.
A Claude chat with the Ask Nathan connector switched on. The user asks which accounts they could walk into that are not in their pipeline yet. Claude lists three companies with no open deal, Halvorsen Freight, Fernhill Robotics and Cobalt Ridge Systems, each with the person the user knows there and the meetings behind it. One is marked Rekindle, quiet for 28 months. Claude adds that one more relationship is held back until the user confirms a possible duplicate. Illustrative: fictional people and companies.
Prep for an eventAsk who to make time for at an event: who is yours, who is warm through a teammate, and who to check first.
A Claude chat with the Ask Nathan connector switched on. The user is at the Northwind Revenue Summit next week and asks who on the attendee list to make time for. Claude sorts 27 attendees it can place: 3 are the user's own relationships, 5 are warm through a teammate, including an intro to ask for before the event at Path Confidence 74, high, and 7 work at companies the user can already reach, with 12 needing a quick check. Illustrative: fictional people and companies.
Tell it your meetingsTell it about your meetings and it logs them once you confirm: who, when and what you promised, never the transcript.
A Claude chat with the Ask Nathan connector switched on. The user asks Claude to log today's meetings from their notes. Claude confirms it logged three conversations after the user confirmed them, with Priya Raman, Theo Ramirez and Dana Whitfield, adds the promised security overview to the user's follow-ups, and says Ask Nathan keeps who, when, the channel and a short note, never the transcript. Illustrative: fictional people and companies.

    03Your pipeline sheet

No CRM? Bring your pipeline sheet.

Connect the Google Sheet you run your pipeline in, read-only. Then ask your own Claude for a warm path next to each deal: who can get you in, Path Confidence, the Why, the next step and where the intro stands.

    Your Claude does any writing
If your Claude can edit Google Sheets (that depends on your Claude plan and the connections you've added), it writes the columns into your sheet, under your own agreement with Anthropic; if not, it gives you the table to paste.
    Matched by Deal ID
Ask Nathan's instructions tell Claude to match each row by its Deal ID, add the new columns at the right end, and leave a row alone when it can't match it to exactly one deal.
    You say yes first
Ask Nathan's instructions tell Claude to show what will change and ask before editing. Anyone who can open the sheet sees the warm-path columns once they are in it.
    Try it

In Claude on the web or desktop, pick Fill my sheet's warm-path columns under Ask Nathan in the + menu, or just say:

Fill my pipeline sheet with Ask Nathan.

Already run your pipeline in a sheet?

The Optimize prompt asks your Claude to reshape your sheet into one of Ask Nathan's formats. If your Claude can edit Google Sheets (that depends on your Claude plan and the connections you've added), it makes the changes after you say yes; if not, it lists them for you. The prompt tells Claude to show the plan first and never delete or overwrite your columns or values.

    The Optimize prompt

Optimize my Google Sheet for Ask Nathan's Founder-led pipeline format. Call Ask Nathan's sheet_blueprint with format "a", read my sheet, and propose how my columns map into it: which of my columns match, which columns you would add, and anything you can't map. Show me the plan and ask before editing. Never delete or overwrite my columns or values, and never delete a row: one that ends gets a closing Stage instead. Add missing columns at the right end. Rename or reorder a column, or add a tab, only if I say yes. If Ask Nathan already syncs this sheet, tell me before renaming or moving a column: Ask Nathan follows a moved column, but renaming one it reads can pause that tab until I confirm the columns again on Ask Nathan's Connect page, and a new Deal ID column, once I map it there, makes Ask Nathan read my deals as new ones. Apply the dropdowns, formatting and frozen header row; where a column already has values outside a dropdown, keep them and tell me which rows. In the Pipeline tab, give each row without a Deal ID one in its Deal ID column, once, continuing from the highest Deal ID in that tab (S-001, S-002, …). Never renumber or reuse an ID, and type IDs as values, never as a formula. If rows may have been deleted, ask me which number to start from. Leave the Ask Nathan columns empty for now. Finish with what you changed and what you couldn't map.

    Or start from a template

What Claude sees, and what it doesn’t.

    Metadata only
Ask Nathan answers in kinds, counts and dates. It never hands Claude message content, meeting attendees, event names or email addresses.
    Scores you can check
Path Confidence runs from 0 to 100 and comes with the evidence behind it. The same evidence gives the same score, and a model never sets it.
    Nothing sends itself
Claude proposes; you confirm before an interaction is saved. Follow-ups open in your own mail.

Does Ask Nathan send data from Google or Microsoft to Anthropic?

No. Ask Nathan does not send data from Google or Microsoft to Anthropic, and sends no person’s name to it from any source, with three exceptions: text in the Own the Stack webinar chat, when a webinar attendee types a question there to the Ask Nathan assistant; a question a member types into the Ask bar when Ask Nathan can’t fully read it on its own (the whole question is sent); and the words of a category or role a member searches for, with the job titles of people at the companies it checks. In each, Ask Nathan removes the email addresses, telephone numbers, links and names it recognizes before the text is sent, but a name it doesn’t recognize can remain. Ask Nathan also sends Anthropic a company’s name, website and the job titles of people there (with the same removals), to suggest its industry, type, size and region and to check whether a company or a job title fits what you search for, only for companies that did not come from Google or Microsoft. Ask Nathan’s explanations for calendar-backed paths are written by a fixed template; for other paths, Claude sees role placeholders such as “the connector” and Ask Nathan adds the names afterwards. If a member connects their own Claude through the Claude connector, that Claude reads Ask Nathan’s answers, which can include facts derived from calendars or your Google Sheets, under the member’s own agreement with Anthropic.
