Terms of Service

    Last updated October 10, 2026

    1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ask Nathan website and service (the "Service") operated by Ask Nathan, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to that organization.

    2. The Service

Ask Nathan is a trust intelligence service that helps identify relationship paths into target accounts. The Service connects, at your direction, to third-party systems including customer relationship management platforms and calendar providers, and analyzes relationship signals to produce recommendations.

    3. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to use the Service on behalf of your organization. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

    4. Connected accounts and your data

What we access. When you connect a third-party account, you authorize us to access only the data described at the point of connection. Calendar connections are metadata only — participants, timestamps, and frequency. We do not access message bodies, subject lines, attachments, or calendar event descriptions.

Your data stays yours. You retain all rights to data you provide or connect. You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your data to train third-party models.

Disconnection and deletion. You may disconnect any connected account or request deletion of your data at any time. Data from a disconnected source is deleted 30 days after it is disconnected unless you reconnect it, and a connection that our connection provider reports as expired or failed is treated as disconnected from that day. On deletion, we remove your data from active systems within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

Third-party terms. Your use of connected services remains subject to those providers' own terms. You are responsible for having the right to connect any account you connect.

    5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service to send unsolicited bulk communications; scrape, resell, or redistribute data obtained through the Service; attempt to access another user's account or data; reverse engineer or interfere with the Service; or use the Service in violation of applicable law, including data protection and anti-spam laws.

You are responsible for the content of any message you send or approve through the Service. The Service may generate draft communications; you review and send them, and you remain responsible for them.

    6. Intellectual property

The Service, including all software, designs, text, and trademarks, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service.

Feedback you provide may be used without restriction or obligation to you.

    7. Fees and subscriptions

Plans bought online (Pro and Starter) are governed by the Ask Nathan Plan Terms: the price and any tax are shown at checkout, plans renew automatically until cancelled, you can cancel online at any time with effect at the end of the paid period, and payments are processed by Stripe. Free plans carry no fees.

Pilots and Team plans may be provided under a separate written pilot agreement or order form. Where fees apply, they are set out in that agreement. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law, as stated in the Plan Terms, or as expressly stated in a written agreement.

    8. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. During beta, we do not offer any uptime commitment, service level agreement, or guarantee of data availability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.

    9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Recommendations, scores, and generated content produced by the Service are informational only. We do not warrant their accuracy or completeness, and you are responsible for your own business decisions and communications.

    10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS.

    11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising out of your use of the Service, your data, your communications sent through the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

    12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections 4, 6, 9, 10, and 11 survive.

    13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date and, where practical, notified by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

    14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
