    Three formats

    • Founder-led pipeline

Tabs: Pipeline, Dashboard, Read me, Lists

    • Team workbook

A small sales team that shares one workbook.

A Pipeline tab with deal owners, a People to reach tab and a Target accounts tab.

Tabs: Pipeline, People to reach, Target accounts, Dashboard, Read me, Lists

    • Fundraising and partners tracker

A founder raising a round or lining up partners.

One list of investors and partners: firm, fit, stage, last touch, next step and the warm path to each person.

Tabs: Investors & partners, Dashboard, Read me, Lists

    Optimize my sheet

Already run your pipeline in a sheet?

    Pro, Starter and Team

The Optimize prompt asks your Claude to reshape your sheet into one of Ask Nathan's formats. If your Claude can edit Google Sheets (that depends on your Claude plan and the connections you've added), it makes the changes after you say yes; if not, it lists them for you. The prompt tells Claude to show the plan first and never delete or overwrite your columns or values.

    1. 01

      Show the plan

Which of your columns match, which it would add and what it can't map.

    2. 02

      Ask before editing

New columns go at the right end; a rename, a reorder or a new tab only with your yes.

    3. 03

      Dropdowns and formatting

The format's dropdowns and formatting, and a frozen header row.

    01Open it in Google Sheets

    1. Download the .xlsx.
    2. In Google Sheets, open a new spreadsheet and choose File → Import → Upload, then pick the file. Or upload it to Google Drive, open it with Google Sheets, and choose File → Save as Google Sheets.
    3. The dropdowns, the shading and the dashboard come with it. Delete the example rows: they use made-up companies on .example addresses.

    02The green columns

Columns with a green header are for Ask Nathan's answers: who can get you in, Path Confidence, the Why, the next step and where the intro stands. If your Claude can edit Google Sheets (that depends on your Claude plan and the connections you've added), it can fill them after you say yes; if not, ask it for the table and paste it in.

    03Deal IDs stay put

In the two pipeline formats, give each deal an ID when you add it (S-001, S-002, …), and never renumber or reuse one: Ask Nathan matches rows by it. Type it, don't use a formula: a formula renumbers rows when you sort or delete one. When a deal ends, set its Stage to Closed Lost (or Not now to park it) rather than deleting its row.
