Ask Nathan Plan Terms
Version 2026-10
1. What these terms cover
These terms apply when you buy an Ask Nathan plan online (Pro or Starter) from Ask Nathan, Inc., a Delaware corporation. They sit alongside the Ask Nathan Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which also apply. Team plans bought by invoice are governed by their order form.
Plans are sold for business use. If these terms and the Terms of Service disagree about buying, renewing, cancelling or refunding a plan, these terms apply.
2. Price, taxes and payment
The price is the one shown at checkout, in US dollars, before any sales tax. Where tax applies, it is calculated at checkout and added to the price. Payments are processed by Stripe; Ask Nathan never receives your card number.
Self-serve purchase is available to customers billed in the United States and Canada. A business can add its tax ID at checkout.
3. Automatic renewal
Your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, as you chose) at the then-current price, and the payment method on file is charged, until you cancel. For a yearly plan, you receive a reminder by email from Stripe, on Ask Nathan's behalf, before it renews. Ask Nathan gives at least 30 days' notice of a price change, which applies from your next renewal. A founding rate stays in place for its stated term. After each purchase, Stripe emails you a receipt on Ask Nathan's behalf.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time online, in Manage billing (Settings → Plan and billing). Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. You can also cancel by emailing hello@asknathan.ai from the address on the account.
5. Changing your plan or seats
Moving from Pro to Starter, or adding Requesters, takes effect when you confirm and charges the prorated amount for the rest of the current period; Ask Nathan shows that amount before you confirm. Removing Requesters takes effect at once, and the unused part is credited to your next invoice rather than refunded to your card.
6. Refunds
Payments are non-refundable for partial periods, except where the law requires otherwise. If you cancel within 14 days of your first payment on a yearly plan, Ask Nathan refunds that payment in full: email hello@asknathan.ai within those 14 days.
7. What each plan includes
Pro is for one person: 1 Requester and 40 Path Credits a month. Starter is for a team's workspace: 5 Requesters included, additional Requesters up to 8 at the price shown at checkout, and 200 Path Credits a month shared by the workspace. Contributors are free.
A Path Credit is spent when a Requester opens a Path brief (once per deal per 30 days) sends an intro request (returned if the intro is declined), or exports a plan. Any other action that uses a credit says so in the app before you take it. Browsing, syncing and Claude reading your graph never spend one. Unused credits don't roll over; the allowance resets each month.
8. Founding rate
A founding rate offered with a free pilot applies to Starter, monthly or yearly, for 24 months from the day you subscribe, including any days before your first charge. After that, the plan renews at its list price. The founding rate belongs to that subscription: if you cancel, it ends with it, and a later subscription gets a founding rate only if one is still offered to you.
9. If a payment fails or a plan ends
If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and emails you. If it still fails, or when a cancelled plan's period ends, your workspace moves to Free: Ask Nathan keeps your data and connections, and Free's limits apply. You can buy again at any time.
10. Changes to these terms
Ask Nathan may update these terms. The version is at the top of this page. A change that reduces your rights applies from your next renewal, after at least 30 days' notice by email.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live gives you rights that can't be waived. The Terms of Service's limits of liability and dispute terms also apply.
